Undergrad Works 2006-2011

*Please excuse poor photo quality*
Many of the images on here are of work that I no longer have, and did not yet know the value of good images.

Series of slab-built, slip decorated vases:

Project: To make an everyday object inspired by a specific art period.  My project: A Gothic Pill Container.

Project: A Graffitea Pot.  My Project:  A tea pot that spells out "I am well rounded and pour" the writing is hollow all the way through and holds maybe a shot or two of tea in total.

Project: Architect Tea-Pot.  My Project:  Inspired by the beams and vents in the ceilings of the NSCAD Port campus.  A functional teapot with twist locking lid, pivoting support and base for ease of pouring, removable pivoting key, and complete with tea bag storage built into its base

Lidded Vessel

Made with local Jingdezhen porcelain at the Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute, wood fired.

Ram pressed wall pieces and slip-cast martins

The photos below are from a Making History summer workshop class, with Julia Galloway and Margaret Bohls, where we remade historical ceramic pieces, for more information: http://juliagalloway.com/teaching-projects/introduction.html
